Successful design grows out of the brand, not out of your head. Brand
strategy is not only a point of departure for the design phase, but an
integrated process. Three excellent speakers have been brought together
for the latest NYNMA Design SIG.
Speakers:
Stuart A. Cowan, The SAC Network: Managing Partner
John Paolini, Creative Director, SiegelGale, New York
David Weisman, Creative Consultant
Topics (condensed):
Cowan: What is a brand, and why should designers care?
Paolini: Mental maps, brands, and the Internet.
Weisman: A conceptual framework for looking at what brands are and
branding's impact on achieving excellent and meaningful design.
