[Sigia-l] Creating group-boxes in HTML

Okay, this is why I'm against html questions on this list: one leads to
more. They breed like tribbles. After two years of being more or less
mark-up question free, we've
seen a handful in the last month, some of which lead to ugly discussions
about where or not html is a programming language, which I can't even with
my stretchy brain, connect to IA.
If people simply cannot find a good place to ask their html questions
(list.evolt.org, webdesign-L for example) then go ahead and ask but get your
responses off list. I can just imagine a holy war about css vs. tables
breaking out next. This list has a remarkably high signal-to-noise
percentage despite being self moderated and I would like to see it remain
that way.
And if you need to flame me about why knowing HTML is a vital part of IA,
please go ahead and do so off list. I agree that knowing html is a vital
part of any web-based activity, but I think this list is not the place to
learn it; certainly not with so many excellent lists devoted to it and so
few devoted to IA.
