[Sigia-l] The IA of writing (question)

I was out yesterday and got onto this thread late. Good suggestions, all. You might also get hold of some style manuals. Officially, here at Digital Evergreen we use AP style, but, personally, I don't always agree with it. We also keep Wired Style on hand. They don't seem to have updated it, and they fell from grace when they backpedaled on "email" vs. "e-mail." Still, it's a good ref. There's also the Chicago Manual of Style, which is more in a scholarly vein, and the Gregg Manual, a more everyday, practical reference. (One day I called the local university's grammar hotline. After I got an answer I asked what book they used--Gregg Manual.) For fun, you might periodically visit The Slot, the Web site of Bill Walsh, copy editor for the Washington Post. Subject: [Sigia-l] The IA of writing (question)

Could anyone recommend books that talk about writing in a way that is
related to IA (even without reference to IA), or simply recommend books
about writing?

Have a nice day
