[Sigia-l] Feedback on PICS ratings

Here's some documentation. Basically, it's a
ratings system that indicates non-family-friendly
content. 

Here's an example. You have to decode them - not
too user friendly:

'(pics-1.1 http://www.classify.org/safesurf/ l
gen t for http://www.playboy.com/ r (ss~~000 6
ss~~100 1))'

Here's the org that coordinates PICS. It's a w3c
thing:

At one time, the following
companies/organizations said they were into it:
America Online, AT&T, CompuServe, Microsoft,
MicroSystems, NetNanny, Netscape, NewView,
Prodigy, Providence Systems, Recreational
Software Advisory Council, SafeSurf, SurfWatch
