SIG HLTH is looking for reviewers to read panel proposals for the
77th ASIST Annual Meeting. You can nominate yourself or
someone else. Please submit names and a short paragraph on
the nominee's expertise to the SIG HLTH officers listed at the end
of this email. The deadline of nomination is April 30th.

ABOUT SIG HLTH
The special interests group of health informatics at ASIS&T is
concerned with the application of information science principles,
information technology, and communication to biomedical science
and health care and their related social and ethical issues.  It
brings together members of various disciplines to evaluate the
needs and problems of developing and managing medical
information systems that can handle their complex utilities. It also
provides a forum for sharing and managing knowledge as a
strategic resource for improving the quality, effectiveness, and use
of biomedical information, data transfer, and communication through
rigorous application of medical informatics.

The Annual Meeting of the Association for Information Science and
Technology is the premier international conference dedicated to the
study of information, people, and technology in contemporary society.
The ASIST AM gathers leading scholars and practitioners from
around the globe to share innovations, ideas, research, and insights
into the state and future of information and communication in play,
work, governance, and society.

ASIST AM has an established record for pushing the boundaries of
information studies, exploring core concepts and ideas, and creating
new technological and conceptual configurations -- all situated in
interdisciplinary discourses.

The conference welcomes contributions from all areas of information
science and technology.  The conference celebrates plurality in
methods, theories and conceptual frameworks and has historically
presented research and development from a broad spectrum of
domains, as encapsulated in ASIST's many special interest groups:
