Hope 2008 finds you healthy and smiling. I am not sure how you feel now about next year's ASIS&T and a follow-up presentation by our panel. I had to catch up on so much at work after the conference that I have been slow to get back to you all. But I hope you still want to do it again. Also, I hope Louisa Rodgers will consider being the moderator and representing the SIG-MED. The panel could be co-sponsored by SIG-KM and SIG-MED again. I would appreciate your reply and any revisions/updates from you by January 14 --or any time next week. Thanks in advance. Attached is a revised (see red text) proposal. I have changed our questions to match the areas listed in the 2008 call for participation (* see below). This year the theme is 'Transformation' rather than 'Social Networking.' Instead of individual presentation titles, I used our names and the questions based on theme and Call for Participation....will this work for you? I think we have a chance again and was so pleased with how well we covered different aspects of medical and health records as a panel last year. How is your research and other work going now? How might you update your presentation for Oct 2008? I encourage minimalist writing effort so that we can make the panel very interactive. This is our Second Showing --let's have fun and engage audience. And I want each of you to brag about your work. I think it is excellent! Regards, Deborah Swain (919-833-9028) p.s. I am trying to find more of my notes from 2007 ASIST in case there is additional support from other SIGs or specific input for us.
