[Sighfis-l] New Year: update on activities

Greetings H-FIS members,

I hope you have all had an enjoyable Christmas break and are ready to 
embrace the New Year full of activities some of which will hopefully 
concern H-FIS.
The minutes of the last business meeting held at the ASIST AM in Seattle 
in Nov 2014 are on the SIG's website:

I'm also attaching it in this mail.

Please take a moment to read it (if you haven't already) and let me know 
of any H-FIS-like activity or event you'd like to hold (workshops, 
doctoral forums, webinars, etc.)

Also, you have seen the Call for the Next ASIST AM in St Louis go out 
and hopefully noted the deadlines for submissions of panels, papers, 
posters and so on : http://www.asis.org/asist2015/am15cfp.html).
If you'd like to host a Panel or a session sponsored by the SIG in 
connection with another SIG or a regional chapter or student chapter, 
let me know soonest.

I will be calling out for i-Stories around April (see minutes business 
meeting) so I hope you'll have something in store for us :-) .

Hopefully, we can also work towards a special issue of the ASIST 
Bulletin for around september (still in the thinking stage...)

Also, if you'd like to get involved in the Oral Histories Project 
(interviewing pionneers of IS), please get in touch or let Bob Williams 
know.
