FYI

"The School of Information is sad to announce the passing of long-time
professor Yale Braunstein. Yale was a beloved colleague, advisor, teacher,
scholar, and friend, and he will be deeply missed at the School of
Information and across the Berkeley campus."

   Yale was member of the faculty of the Berkeley School of Information
since 1983. He specialized in the economics of publishing and information
services and in information policy. He published at least two papers in
JASIST.
