Hal Borko passed on Saturday, quietly in hospice with his family around him,
aged 90.  They will have a private family service and UCLA will hold a
celebration of his life later in the spring. Greg Leazer is coordinating and
Bob Hayes will contribute; I"m copying them.

  Hal was president of ASIST in 1966, the last as ADI, to my knowledge, and
received the ASIST Award of Merit in 1994, and the ASIST Best Teacher Award
in 1988, and the LACASIST lifetime achievement award.
