[Sighfis-l] HFIS business meeting

Greetings all!

The SIG-HFIS planning session will be held on Tuesday, November 16, from 7-8pm. Apologies for the late hour, but I was a bit tardy in scheduling it *-all the good spots were snapped up.  The meeting will take place right before the SIG-CON session so let's plan to conclude our business a bit before that. 

Joe Tennis is our incoming Chair and regrets greatly that he will be unable to attend ASIST this year.  I am happy to report, though, that Joe is in the last stages of his dissertation---I think many of us can appreciate the pressure he is under to complete this 'blessed event'.   He has asked that I run the meeting for him, which I will gladly do.  

Everyone please do plan to come to this session with many great ideas for next year's program.  We will also need to elect a new Chair-Elect.
