                 LECTURER (tenure-track), INFORMATION PROGRAM
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Technology, Sydney

The Department of Media Arts, Communication and Information invites 
applications from people with teaching and research interests in the area 
of Information Behaviour, who can also contribute to the teaching in one 
other area e.g. social informatics or research methods. The position is 
available from February 2003. Candidates must have a PhD (or near 
completion) in information science or a related discipline.

The Information Program Area is one of Australia's leading providers of 
innovative courses in information and knowledge management at 
undergraduate, post-graduate diploma, masters and doctoral levels.

You will complement the Program's existing strengths in information and 
knowledge management.
Salary range: $54,946 to $65,234 pa. (to mid-level only).The University 
offers a wide-ranging salary packaging scheme to all staff plus an 
attractive superannuation package.
