[Sigdl-l] Call for SIG-DL Officer Nominations by Monday: Elections Approaching!

 Calling all ASIS&T Digital Libraries Special Interest Group (SIG-DL)
members:
SIG-DL is seeking nominations for the below 2013-2014 positions by Monday,
September 9th.
- Chair
- Chair-elect
- Secretary /Treasurer
- Communications Officer
- Membership Officer
- Webmaster

Current SIG-DL members in good standing are eligible to nominate, vote for,
or serve office. Current officers are eligible to run for re-election in
their current positions or in any other open positions.

Send nominations / self-nominations to Susan Wells Parham (
susan.parham at library.gatech.edu) by Monday, September 9th. Nominations must
include the following information:

1. Full contact information of Candidate (Name, Professional Title,
Organization, email)
2. Photograph
3. Short biographical statement
4. Brief description of the candidate’s qualifications for the position.

The election will occur online from Monday, September 16th to Monday,
September 23rd.

Elected officers *must attend* the SIGDL Business Meeting which occurs
during the 2013 ASIS&T Annual Meeting in Montreal, Canada. Elected officers
will be expected to actively participate in phone calls and virtual
meetings throughout the upcoming 2013-2014 year.

SIG-DL conducts elections before the annual meeting to comply with our
bylaws and to ensure a productive planning meeting in Montreal, Canada.
Details on the electronic voting procedure will be distributed along with
the election materials once the nomination period expires.

an active member in SIGDL.
