[Sigdl-l] SIG-DL is seeking applicants for the Chair Elect position. This is a pro tem (temporary) elected position.

Dear SIG-DLers,

 SIG-DL is seeking applicants for the Chair Elect position, which has
recently become vacant. This is a pro tem (temporary) elected position,
which will be filled to complete the current 2012-2013 term.

 If you are interested in getting more involved with this SIG this is an
ideal opportunity. The successful applicant to the Chair Elect pro tem
position will be appointed to carry out the current term, which concludes
in November 2013. A full description of Chair-Elect duties can be found

 At the conclusion of the appointment in Nov 2013, the applicant will be
welcome to run for any of the Executive Officer positions. In other words,
the Chair Elect pro tem would finish the remainder of the current term but
would not automatically become Chair for the next year.
