[Sigdl-l] SIGDL Elections Approaching: Call for Nominations!

Calling all ASIS&T Digital Libraries Special Interest Group (SIG-DL)
members:

SIG-DL is seeking nominations for the below 2012-2013 positions by Monday,
September 10th.

- Chair-elect
- Secretary /Treasurer
- Communications Officer
- Membership Officer
- Webmaster

Current SIG-DL members in good standing are eligible to nominate, vote for,
or serve office. Current officers are eligible to run for re-election in
their current positions or in any other open positions.

Send nominations / self-nominations to Marisa Ramirez (mramir14 at calpoly.edu)
by Monday, September 10th. Nominations must include the following
information:

1. Full contact information of Candidate (Name, Professional Title,
Organization, email)
2. Photograph
3. Short biographical statement
4. Brief description of the candidate’s qualifications for the position.

The election will occur online from Monday, September 17th to Monday,
September 24th.

Elected officers *must attend* the SIGDL Business Meeting which occurs
during the 2012 ASIS&T Annual Meeting. Elected officers will be expected to
actively participate in virtual meetings throughout the upcoming 2012-2013
year.

SIG-DL conducts elections before the annual meeting to comply with our
bylaws and to ensure a productive planning meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.
Details on the electronic voting procedure will be distributed along with
the election materials once the nomination period expires.

We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your willingness to be
an active member in SIGDL.
