Call for Program Proposals, ASIST Annual Meeting 2010
Proposals for program sessions for the 2010 ASIST Annual Meeting,
"Navigating Streams in an Information Ecosystem", are due beginning
in May 2010.
ASIST 2010 will consist of six tracks, each with its own program and
reviewing committee. A team of reviewers, experts in their fields,
will assist with a rigorous peer-review process. Also new this year,
there are additional program format categories; the list of program
formats includes:
1. Papers (short and long)
2. Panels
3. Interactive Showcase (posters, demos and videos)
4. Workshops
For full details on the 2010 program, see the ASIST 2010 conference
web site: http://www.asis.org/Conferences/AM10/am10cfp.html
The program tracks and increased variety of format categories will
mean that the acceptance rate for any given program format will be
more competitive. SIG-DL will want to submit a variety of proposals
targeting specific tracks and spanning the different SIG-sponsored
format categories (panels, workshops) to maximize both the diversity
and the overall acceptance rates of our 2010 programs.
Please check the SIG-DL (Digital Libraries) wiki linked below for
ideas that have been proposed so far and that are being developed in
preparation for May submission.
*Please add your proposal ideas to the wiki* See SIG-DL submission
schedule below.
