Hi,

The NRL Research Library's vacancy for a Reference Librarian/Technical
Information Specialist is now open on the Navy's Chart system:

https://chart.donhr.navy.mil/

This particular announcement is open to all non-Federal employees who would
like to become 'feds'. Unfortunately, the regional HR only posted it for a
week so if you know someone who is interested in this position, please pass
this on quickly. This single position is being opened to both current feds
and non-federal candidates, both librarians (1410) and Technical Information
Specialists (1412) - but only one person will be selected from these various
lists.

Here are the details:

Librarian (Physical Sciences), NO-1410-03; opens 12/11/06; closes 12/15/06;
Code 5596.2; Announcement # NE6-1410-03NRL0842-DE

Technical Information Specialist, NO-1412-03; opens 12/11/06; closes
12/15/06; Code 5596.2; Announcement # NE6-1412-03NRL0843-DE

One final vacancy is still due to be posted in the next few weeks for the
Bibliographer opening. Once it is released, it will be distributed to the
same lists.

 Hi,

I just received word that the second vacancy for a Reference Librarian will
open today (11/22/06) under announcement number NE6-1410-03-K9494335-I.
This specific announcement is limited to current Federal employees and is
scheduled to be open for two weeks (we're making progress with the Regional
HR group to compensate for the holiday break). This and the pending
non-Federal announcement for this position will be advertised under both the
1410 (Librarian) and 1412 (Technical Information Specialist) classifications
to ensure the widest possible search.

Again, to find details on the announcement go to the Navy's CHART system at:

https://chart.donhr.navy.mil/

and enter the announcement number above.
