Subject: [CNI-ANNOUNCE] Report of CNI/Mellon/Microsoft/JISC/DLF Workshop on
Repository Interoperability

On April 20-21 in New York City the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation hosted an
invitational meeting, convened jointly by Mellon, Microsoft, CNI, JISC and
DLF, to explore issues in repository interoperabiltiy, with a view towards
mapping out a development agenda. General information on the meeting is at:

http://msc.mellon.org/Meetings/Interop/

The report from this meeting, prepared by Jeroen Bekaert and Herbert Van de
Somple of LANL,  has just been finalized and is now available at

http://msc.mellon.org/Meetings/Interop/FinalReport

This report is very much worth reading, and I think does a great job of
summarizing a very complex and important discussion.

Look for announcements of additional work in this area in the coming months.

Director, CNI
