Copyright transfer agreements are often a barrier to participation in
digital repositories. This introductory, half-day tutorial at the JCDL
2005 Conference in Denver on the morning of Tues. June 7, will demystify
copyright concerns and introduce participants to the deposit and metadata
creation processes that underlie self-archiving practices in repositories
and Open Access Archives (OAA) such as DLIST, Digital Library for
Information Science and Technology <http://dlist.sir.arizona.edu>.
