From melissa.adler at uky.edu Thu Sep 15 13:06:13 2016 From: melissa.adler at uky.edu (Adler, Melissa A) Date: Thu, 15 Sep 2016 17:06:13 +0000 Subject: [sigCR] SIG/CR officers Message-ID: Dear SIG/CR members: It is time to elect new officers! Please send nominations (you may nominate yourself) no later than 9/19 to melissa.adler at uky.edu Specifically, we need a chair-elect. That person will coordinate with our current incoming chair, Barbara Kwasnik to coordinate a workshop (or an alternative) for ASIS&T 2017 and then will serve as chair of SIG/CR the following year. We also need a Secretary/Treasurer. There are also unelected positions, so if you are interested in serving as a Communications Officer or in a similar regard, please contact Melissa. As some of you have noticed, we decided not to hold a workshop at ASIS&T in Copenhagen this year. We have been considering alternatives to the workshop model that might better meet the aims of SIG/CR. Our hope is that the incoming chair-elect will bring ideas and insights about how to move SIG/CR forward. We are sponsoring two panels this year (one on global/local KO and one on crowdsourcing), and these may provide springboards for thinking about an agenda for the coming years. Hope to see you in Copenhagen!
