[sigCR] Last call for nominations SIG/CR officers- deadline August 6th

Greetings! The nominations phase of voting for SIG/CR officers is fast
approaching. You have until August 6th to nominate yourself or someone
else! Voting will run from August 7-15, 2012.

We have two candidates thus far:

Running for Chair of SIG/CR.
[This person will assume chairmanship at the annual meeting in October 2012
through October 2012
**Jane Greenberg, Professor & Director, SILS Metadata Research Center,
School of Information and Library Science University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. Nominated by Kathryn La Barre

Running for Chair-elect of SIG/CR
[This person will assume chairmanship at the annual meeting in October 2013
through October 2014.]
**Grant Campbell, Associate Professor, University of Western Ontario.

When voting opens on August 7th you will also have a chance to volunteer
for the following appointed positions:
(1) Secretary/treasurer of SIG/CR. [To assist with paperwork and general
duties as needed]
(2) Creator/maintainer of a website or wiki for SIG/CR. [We don't have one
at the moment!]
(3) Communications officer for SIG/CR. (Email list maintenance, Social
media, general announcements).
