[Sigcr-l] SIG/CR officers 2010 - 2011

Hello All:

As the incoming chair of SIG/CR, I spoke with K.T. Vaughn about  
officers for the upcoming year. Specifically, she wants us to electa  
chair-elect and name a treasurer. Do I have any nominations or self- 
nominations for chair-elect and/or treasurer?

Chair-elect will assist in the day-to-day running of the SIG for the  
upcoming year. This person will also become Chair for the 2011-2012  
year (beginning at the ASIST 2011 conference in New Orleans). Duties  
of the chair include soliciting and helping to organize panel and  
paper proposals for ASIST annual conference, collaborating with other  
SIGs, running the annual SIG/CR business meeting, representing the  
group at SIG Cabinet and SIG Planning Meetings, appointing other  
officers such as a webmaster and secretary/treasurer, organizing the  
SIG/CR workshop at the ASIST annual meeting, and coordinating with the  
webmaster to create a new CR website and possibly a wiki.

I can appoint a treasurer, but am wondering if anyone is inherently  
interested in this position. I don't think it involves too much work:  
simply coordinating with ASIST HQ regarding our yearly budget, and  
communicating that budget information to the chair (in this case, me).
