[Sigcr-l] question on The Power To Tag 12|03

I should add that the weakness of the term "folksonomy" doesn't detract from the importance of studying tagging, what it reveals about taggers, and the potential uses of tags (especially in large numbers). IMHO we have neglected syntagmatic relationships (except in trying to inculcate boolean logic into searchers) in our concentration on paradigmatic relationships and should develop a better understanding of how they operate.
