Good afternoon, everyone!
SIG CR has several events planned for the Annual Conference in Long Beach
starting this weekend. Details are provided below -- hope to see all of you at
one or all of these events! Just a note of special thanks to Micki
Breitenstein, incoming Chair of SIG CR, for all her work on putting the programs
together his year.
Best regards,
Denise Bedford
SIG CR Chair
SIG CR Workshop - Saturday, October 18 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm -- We have several
very interesting papers on automated approaches to classification. See the
attached agenda for details. (See attached file: SIG CR Workshop Agenda.doc)
Two SIG CR Planning Meetings, Monday, October 20, 4-5 pm and Tuesday, October
21, 4-5 pm, both held in the Redondo Room, 4th Floor in the Conference Hotel.
Please be sure to attend these planning sessions if you are interested in being
a candidate for Chair-Elect, or would like to contribute to SIG CR in another
official capacity. We always welcome volunteers to assist in organizing
programs, assisting with future workshops, or other creative ways to serve the
interests of the SIG CR members. Bring your ideas -- they will be welcome! As
you can see from the programs and workshop agenda, this is a very rich and
diverse group.
