The April 27, 2002 issue (vol. 324, p. 1018-1022) of the British Medical
Journal (BMJ) has a very interesting and informative article on the
subject of Bioinformatics. We can look at the article in full-text format

Thanks to Ruth Lewis, Biology Librarian at Washington University for
pointing out this really nice overview of a "complicated subject with
somewhat vague definitions" (part of a recent lead sentence of The
Buffalo News, commenting on the potential regional economic impacts of
creating the Center for Excellence in Bioinformatics here in Buffalo with 
UB as one of the major players). This article will REALLY help clarify
things!
