Dear SIG members,

I'm looking forward to seeing you soon at ASIST 2011 in New Orleans. Here
are the activities SIG AH will be participating in during the Annual Meeting
and please feel free to contact me - I'll be wearing our SIG's new logo tag:

Registration: Be sure to pick up and wear a SIG Arts & Humanities tag, new
in 2011!

New Members / First Conference Attendees Brunch (Sun. noon): I'll be
participating with a short (3 minute) introduction about SIG AH, hosted by
the ASIS&T Membership Committee.

Leadership Development Program (Sun. 5:30-6:30 p.m., Salon F-H): Past chair
Joseph Busch will be representing the SIG at this program, convened by
Andrea Copeland, which will feature round tables for each SIG. I will be
attending the ASIST 75th Task Force meeting at the same time. All questions
welcome.

Welcome Reception and SIG Rush (Sun. 6:30 p.m.): Be sure to stop by SIG AH
and say hi!

SIG AH planning session (Mon. Oct. 10, 5-6:00 p.m., Jackson Room): The
agenda comprises the following: Introductions of Attendees, Election
Nominations and Actions, Chair's Report, Report from a SIG Cabinet Director,
New Business (SIG VIS outing, Web resources, 2012 AM session ideas), and
Open Discussion.

SIG AH / SIG VIS outing: Will be Sunday or Monday evening, Oct. 9 or 10.
Joan Beaudoin and I are meeting after SIG Cabinet on Sun. morning so stay
tuned!
