[Sigah-l] SIG-AH election

Hi Folks,

We need to hold an election for SIG officers. This will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to be more active in the SIG. There are at least 4 offices that we can fill: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Communications. After a long period of dormancy, we have had SIG activities at the last several annual meetings. That should provide a good foundation on which to build.

Let me know if you are interested in running for a SIG office. I will not be running for an office again, so I can post the list of candidates and count votes after the election. Let me know by next Friday (4/22) if you are interested in running, and what office you would like to be considered for. I will post the list of candidates after that, and give people a week to vote. Feel free to suggest changes to the procedures if you think there might be a problem.
