Subject: [Sig-l] SIG "Living Manual" Discussion

Dear SIG leader/member,

At the annual meeting, Alyson Gamble, Laura Ridenour, and I will be discussing the results of a survey we conducted of ASIS&T members. This survey provides important findings about barriers to taking on leadership positions, barriers to joining a SIG, and the utility of a potential series of centralized training modules to help with these issues and increase participation.

Rather than waste time at our meeting going over these findings, I have made it available as a Google Slide for your attention. Please take a look at the slide presentation, and come to the meeting with any questions or suggestions you have. We can then have a discussion rather than a presentation. You can access it here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/17XHnJrTB-F1FauHKYSofsYZ-5UxLp1T2WomrCiRkwio/edit#slide=id.p8. No sign-in is required to view it.

Thanks!
