[Sig-l] AGENDA: SIG officer orientation and Q/A session 1/30 1-2 US Central time

Greetings,

The SIG officer orientation and question and answer session will be held
online on Thursday January 30 from 1-2 (Central Time). *The session will be
recorded and I will send the link to this list within 48 hours of the
session. *If you can't make it, please send any questions your SIG may have
to klabarre at illinois.edu. We'll be using Blackboard Collaborate for this
meeting. Please log in 5-10 minutes before the session (see instructions
for checking your computer prior to the session). If you encounter
difficulties during the session, contact the GSLIS helpdesk 1-800-377-1892
[tell them you are joining the ASIST SIG officer orientation].

(2) Administration: SIG wiki/START account/ forms

(3) Calendar: Discuss calendar/ reporting and SIG tasks

(4) Finances: SIG project and reserve fund/ budgeting

(5) Programming: at annual, planning and joint activities

To check that your computer is compatible with the Blackboard Collaborate
software, please go to the following link:

If your computer is compatible and if you have the proper version of Java
installed, two green check marks will appear. If the site indicates that
Java is not up-to-date, please follow the website's instructions to
download and install the latest version.

On this site, you can also enter a configuration room to test your audio.
Everyone will be able to use the text chat box to type messages to all
participants. If you would like to speak during the session, we recommend
you use a USB headset with microphone.
