[Sig-l] ASIST SIG Cabinet Officers Call for Nominations

Hi all -
It is time again to nominate yourselves and your ASIS&T SIG colleagues for a variety of elected positions in the society affiliated with SIGs.  These are the positions we are electing at the SIG Cabinet meeting on October 28th:

SIG Cabinet Director-Elect - three year term in the Director-Elect, Director, Past Director sequence (one person elected)  Note that due to a change to the bylaws this year we will transition to the three-term for the Director sequence.  Shelly Warwick will be Past Director and Chris Landbeck will be Director this year.

SIG Cabinet Advisor - two year term (three people elected)

SIG Representative to the ASIS&T Nominating Committee - one year term (one person elected)

SIG of the Year Jury Member - two year term (one person elected)

I am more than happy to answer any questions about the roles, responsibilities, and time commitments of any of these positions.  The first three (Director-Elect and Advisor) must be active officers in at least one SIG at the time of the election (this includes Past Chair); the other two may come from the SIG membership at large.
