[Sig-l] ASIS&T SIG Annual reports & awards

Hi all!
I hope you're having lovely summers (or winters, for our brethren in the 
southern latitudes).  The time has come again to think about submitting 
ASIS&T SIG annual reports and nominations for SIG of the Year, SIG 
Member of the Year, and SIG Publication of the Year. As a reminder, the 
SIG Annual Activities Report is available on the wiki at 
http://www.asis.org/wiki/chapters-sigs/index.php/Activities_Report_form.  
We agreed at SIG Cabinet last year that SIGs wishing to be considered 
for SIG of the Year AND/OR wanting to request rollover of funds MUST 
submit a report by August 15th; all other SIGs MUST submit a report by 
September 15th.  I will track you down and call you personally for a report.

We decided this year to have nominations for all three awards be due on 
August 15th.  Please nominate your colleagues and/or yourself!  Award 
winners will be highlighted in the program, at the SIG Cabinet meeting, 
and at the Awards Banquet, as will their nominators.  I appreciate all 
the work you do on behalf of our membership!

You'll be getting some more mail from me later today about nominations 
for SIG Cabinet Steering Committee.  It's different from this email, so 
please don't delete it right away.
