Dear SIG Chairs,

SIG ED is planning a program on bioinformatics education in LIS and iSchool programs and will present the current status of bioinformatics curricula and students, and how both are differentiating themselves from programs in computer science and biosciences.

The participants are John MacMullen (co-director of the MS in Bioinformatics program at Illinois), Brad Hemminger from UNC, and Joan Bartlett from McGill. If you would like to co-sponsor this panel please email me.
