Topic: Scandinavians on information seeking and retrieval research: Conceptions of tasks as methodological issues
3. Submitted by: Lisl Zach, Louisiana State University

4. Submitted by: Dania Bilal, University of Tennessee

5. SIG USE 4th Annual Research Symposium. Funding opportunities for Human Information Behavior Research. Organizers to be announced.
We are also interested in sponsoring other programs related to users' information behavior (needs, acquisition, uses, management, etc.) across various types of user populations. One such proposal is by SIG STI's -- Reference services and knowledgebases: when is help helpful.
Please send me an email if any of the SIGs would like to co-sponsor one of the above programs (#1-4) or if you plan to have programs that SIG USE may be interested in sponsoring.
