[Sig-l] SIG USE 2003 sessions

Happy new year to all of you.
This is to remind you that the deadline for submitting proposals for the ASIST 
2003 panel sessions and other programs is January 28. The proposed sessions 
are listed below. Please contact the organizer directly if you are interested 
in participating in any of these sessions. The organizer will be in charge of 
submitting the description for the proposed panel into ASIST web site. The

Proposed sessions:
1) Teaching the information behavior course. Organizer
Hsin-liang Chen (Oliver). 
2) Defining measures for user studies (Delphi Study). Organizer: Carol Barry
3) Discount usability tests and user studies. Organizer: Tom Burton-West.
4) What can we learn from usage data. Suggested organizer: Karla
Hahn (Karla will not be able to organize this session. any volunteers?)
5) Supporting the user at the interface. Organizer: Elaine
Toms 
6) Digital information for youth. Organizer: Dania Bilal
7) Information behavior in everyday life. Organizer: Karen
Pettigrew (Fisher) 
8) Exploration of user values and information use. Suggested
organizer: Homer Hall

Research Symposium Topic: Using theory in information behavior
research. Organizers: Sanda Erdelez and Karen Pettigrew (Fisher).
