Playable on personal computers, PDAs and iPods (thus the “pod” in podcast),podcasts are inexpensive and easy to produce and distribute. Thissession starts with the basics of how to actually do podcasting, includingthe technology, software, etc. It then illustrates how various libraries are using podcasts for staff development, training, and learning. David King defines videocasting and provides examples, describes how to create andaggregate a videocast, and illustrates how a videocast can be used on alibrary Web site.
