[Pasig-discuss] Call for Proposals: ALCTS Metadata Interest Group at 2014 ALA Annual Conference

The ALCTS Metadata Interest Group invites speakers to present at its
meeting at the 2014 ALA Annual Conference in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 29th
from 8:30 to 10:00 am (LVCC-N263).  Presentations will be approximately 30
minutes, including Q&A.



Possible topics may include, but are not limited to:



*Tools for metadata librarians, including those for creation and/or
transformation

*Innovative workflow design focusing on the intersection of
tools/mechanisms and staff education and training

*Building sustainable/scalable workflows

*Metadata assessment

*Incorporating linked data in workflows

*Implementations of author/researcher identifiers (e.g. ORCID,
ResearcherID) in repositories or digital collections



To submit a proposal for presentation, please email an abstract to Maureen
Walsh (walsh.260 at osu.edu) by Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
