[Neasis-l] ASIST in June: three big events, and you're invited

June is a big month for NEASIST, with a meetup, a party, and an election. You're invited to participate in all three!

THIS WEEK
Join us, in Boston or remotely, on Thursday June 2 for a collection development workshop with Jennifer Ferguson of Simmons College (2-4PM). We'll work on building collections strategically around faculty CVs and syllabi. All the details are at http://www.meetup.com/neasist/events/230669019/

NEXT WEEK
The annual NEASIST picnic, with food, drink, and croquet, is in Brookline on Tuesday June 7 (5:30-7:30 PM). We'll hear reports from the NEASIST Travel Award Winners who are recently back from RDAP, catch up with colleagues, and of course enjoy a few rounds of croquet. BEFORE JUNE 15
ASIST elections are in progress now and end June 15. If you're an eligible voter, you received a special login username and password. (If you're not an eligible voter, talk to me about joining ASIST!) Get information about the candidates for president-elect, treasurer, and directors-at-large at https://www.asist.org/elections/. These elections are important for our future, and we at NEASIST are grateful to candidate Naresh Agarwal for taking the time to speak with NEASIST members at a recent meeting. It's great to see such talented people in our organization at the national level.
