This Thursday, March 31st is the start of the New England Archivists Spring
2016 Meeting and everyone is geared up and ready to go. As you make your
plans for things to do and see, don't forget some of the interesting extras
and highlights for this year's meeting:

*FRIDAY, APRIL 1:*

*New Member Breakfast*: all attendees welcome. Make sure to talk to a new
NEA member!

*Friday plenary speaker*: Graffiti and mural artist Caleb Neelon's work
ranges from cultural diplomacy projects through the U.S. State Department;
curatorial advisory work at museums, projects bringing artwork to
hospitals, and public artwork projects in over thirty countries around the
globe. His experience documenting movements has helped him author or
collaborated on more twenty books about the pubic artist's world.

*Respite Room*: Anytime during the meeting you need a break, stop by NEA's
Respite Room to recharge. (The Respite Room will be available to attendees
both Friday and Saturday).

*Afternoon Coffee Break with the Vendors*: Take a coffee break with the
vendors and listen to remarks from incoming NEA President, Jennifer Gunter
King.

*Moths in the Archives: Stories from the Stacks:* Join us for NEA's first
StorySLAM featuring stories about being an archivist.

*Friday night reception:* End the first day of the meeting with a reception
featuring food and drinks from Portland, Maine.

*SATURDAY APRIL 2:*
