Hello NEASIST members -- if you have enjoyed our programs on data analytics
and visualization, you should consider attending Bio-IT next week. It is
free to register for the keynote talks on bioinformatics. You can also

Keynote Session & Exhibit Hall passes are now available for the 2015 Bio-IT
World Expo, taking place April 21-23 at the Seaport World Trade Center in
Boston. Last year’s event brought together more than 3,000 global attendees
from across the life science, pharma, healthcare and IT industries to share
the latest developments in data collaboration, analysis and management.



Tuesday April 21 at 4 pm  Dr. Philip Bourne, NIH Associate Director for
Data Science and Founding Editor in Chief PLOS will speak on *The Vision
for Data at the NIH*, followed by the Networking Welcome Reception from 5-7
pm in the Exhibit Hall with poster viewing..

Wed April 22 at 8 am Dr. Christian Sander, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer
Center will talk about how one of the nation’s leading cancer centers uses
computational biology, followed by the Bioinformatics Organizations’
Benjamin Franklin and BioIT World’s Best Practices and Best of Show awards
at 9 am, then the  9:45 am Coffee break in the Exhibit Hall with poster
viewing.



Thursday April 23 8-10 am offers a panel on *Data Custodians, Patient
Advocates* with Benjamin Heywood, Co-Founder and President Patients Like
Me, Dr. Andreas Kogelnik, Founder of the Open Medicine Institute and Dr.
Katherine Wendelsdorf, Spokesperson Empowered Genome Community and QIAGEN
Bioinformatics, followed by a Coffee break in the Exhibit Hall, with
announcement of the winning posters.   .



Keynote Session & Exhibit Hall Passes provide access to the daily plenary

topics of bioinformatics, big data solutions, cloud computing, data
