[Neasis-l] attending ASIST National? represent New England at the Chapter Assembly

Dear NEASIS-L,

This message is for anyone in the New England chapter who is planning  
on attending ASIST National in Vancouver this fall.  Since several us  
are not attending this year, we are looking for a volunteer to  
represent the New England chapter at the Chapter Assembly meeting on  
Sun. Nov. 8, 8:30 - 9:45 am.

Here's what's involved:

An agenda for the meeting will be sent out ahead of time. At the  
meeting, there will be announcements and information sharing.  
Certificates for each chapter's board members are distributed and the  
awards for Chapter Member, Chapter Publication and Chapter Innovation  
will be announced and certificates given.

There will also be two elections.  One for the Chapter Assembly  
Representative on the ASIS&T Nominations Committee and the other for a  
representative (2 year term) on the Chapter of the Year Award Jury.

We need you to cast our vote!

We are also looking for someone to attend the Chapter Assembly  
Planning Breakfast (Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7 a.m.).  The breakfast is  
great and there is usually a great discussion between chapter leaders  
about whatever issues concern them.

If anyone is interested in doing one or both, let us know!
