Stay abreast of the latest cases, laws, and trends that affect your 
library. From privacy, First Amendment, and copyright law, you will 
learn how to operate in today's dynamic legal framework. Topics include 
The Google Books Settlement (should your library sign up?), the latest 
open access licenses (what they permit, how to find licensed content, 
and who might benefit from using them), and briefings on actions in 
Congress and the Copyright Office, including open works legislation, 
DMCA exemptions, and Section 108 reform.
