The NEASIS&T Student Travel Award jury is pleased to announce this year's
winners!
The 2007 NEASIS&T "Best Papers in Information Science" awards go to:
David M. Dwiggins
dwiggins at simmons.edu
Simmons College
Graduate School of Library and Information Science
for his paper entitled "Putting the “Where” in the Archives: Internet
Mapping and Archival Records."
and
Benjamin Florin
benjamin.florin at simmons.edu
Simmons College,
Graduate School of Library and Information Science
for his paper entitled "Searching Simple Narratives Using Topic Maps."
Each winner will receive up to $750 to help defray the costs of attendance
at the 2007 ASIS&T Annual Meeting, "Joining Research and Practice: Social
Computing and Information Science" which takes place October 18-25, 2007
in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Congratulations to both David and Benjamin for their excellent papers!
