event at Simmons is open to everyone. Just be sure to RSVP.

UCLA Professor Emeritus Robert M. Hayes presents:
Libraries in National Information Economies: A Comparison of the United
States, United Kingdom, and Croatia
Dr. Hayes will present an overview of his research assessing the use of
library-like information functions in a variety of business settings.
In the three countries being reviewed, Dr. Hayes examined access to and
use of external sources of information in industries ranging from
traditional libraries to agricultural organizations. The lecture will
focus on the research process, including the extensive data-gathering in
Croatia, and a preliminary reading of the data.
