[Neasis-l] Wikimania Volunteer Meeting This Weekend (4/15 or 4/16)

Hello,

Since several of you have expressed an interest in helping with the 
international Wikimania conference happening in Cambridge in August, 
I thought I'd post information about some upcoming Wikimania planning 
meetings to the list.

At 7 pm tonight (4/14), the local Wikipedia Meetup Group is gathering 
at Toscanini's near Central Square, Cambridge. The discussion will 
primarily be about things related to Wikipedia, but Wikimania is sure 
to come up. More info:

The Wikimania planners are setting up a meeting on IRC (Internet 
Relay Chat) in the wikimania channel on freenode.net for some time 
this weekend (4/15 or 4/16). They're currently asking what days and 
times work the best. I'm not sure when they'll actually pick a date 
and time. I probably won't have access to this list when they do, so 
I encourage you to check the site at some point Saturday to find out 
when the meeting will happen.

One of the planners working on the schedule of conference events will 
be in town between April 26 and April 30. We are planning some 
face-to-face Wikimania meetings during that time.
