Contract Position

ELECTRONIC SERVICES LIBRARIAN

Analog Devices, Inc., an international semiconductor company 
headquartered in Norwood, MA, has approximately 8,600 employees of 
which more than 3,000 are engineers based in its worldwide locations.  
Technical and Marketing Information Services (TMIS), the department 
within Analog Devices, Inc. that is responsible for providing its 
worldwide locations with desktop access to internal and external 
engineering information, is seeking an energetic and innovative 
professional.


Job Description:
To promote the content on the TMIS intranet site and to champion its 
enterprise-wide search engine.


Primary Responsibilities:
Identify internal marketing opportunities.  Develop, manage, and 
promote department’s electronic services via a variety of presentation 
tools:  in-person training and/or electronic presentations; create 
training materials.  Lead and monitor effectiveness of advertising 
operation.


Secondary Responsibilities:
Research, develop, and write designated intranet pages.  Categorize 
intranet content.  Investigate new internal and external content 
opportunities.


Qualifications:
Required:  Creativity and leadership.  Proven oral and written 
communication and presentation skills and capacity to communicate with 
all levels of a large company; demonstrated training experience;  
content management experience;  ability to work independently and as a 
team member to achieve goals of the department. 
Strongly preferred:  Background in the information industry and/or an 
engineering environment;  HTML or Dreamweaver experience.
Preferred:  ALA accredited MLS.  Knowledge of engineering literature in 
electronic formats. 


Work Location: 
Choice of Norwood MA, Wilmington MA, or Cambridge MA.  Some travel may 
be required.
