Blogs -- feeds -- RSS -- aggregators -- Everybody's heard about them but what are they and what do you do with them? At this workshop you will learn not only what they are but also how to make them work for you!
Jessica Baumgart writes about issues related to special librarianship, blogging, and feeds on j's scratchpad (http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/jkbaumga/). Rowland Institute at Harvard librarian Garrett Eastman blogs for his library's primary users on the Rowland Institute at Harvard Library Blog (http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/rihlib/). Programmers Shimon Rura and Josh Ain are developing the blog platform <Frassle (http://frassle.rura.org/). Kris Liberman has a strong interest in the use of blogs for knowledge management.

The Willits-Hallowell Center is a full service conference facility located on the campus and within easy walk of many amenities and activities.
