[Neasis-l] Help Plan Wikimania Sessions

Hello,

Planning is underway for the 2006 Wikimedia Foundation Conference 
often called Wikimania. It will be in Cambridge, Massachusetts, from 
Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 6, with the potential for 
other activities before and after the weekend.

Conference organizers are working on putting the sessions together 
and gathering suggestions for speakers. Since the conference is in 
the Boston area and there are many local active groups of librarians 
and information professionals interested in Wikipedia and wikis, it 
would be great if we could plan some sessions and activities directly 
related to our profession.

There will be another program meeting this weekend, perhaps on 
Saturday, February 4, at 22:00 UTC (5 pm EST), on IRC (Internet Relay 
Chat) on freenode.net in the wikimania channel. If you can make it, 
you can tell others you'll be there at:

You can also leave a note if you can't make that time, but would like 
to participate somehow.
