Hello,

I thought some of you might be interested in this free blog 
conference at Harvard on Saturday, April 17. A few of us are working 
on a session geared toward information 
professionals/librarians/archivists/libraries/archives and blogs:

how your organization could benefit from a weblog?  Would you like to 
learn what some librarians, archivists, libraries, and other 
information professionals are doing with weblogs?

Come to BloggerCon, a free, all-day conference about weblogs and 
blogging hosted by the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at 
Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Saturday, April 
17, 2004!

There is a session focusing on librarians/information 
professionals/libraries and blogging (details: 
http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/jkbaumga/2004/03/12#a873). Other topics 
on the preliminary schedule include blogging and journalism, intranet 
blogging, and infrastructure. The sessions will be moderated 
discussions with audience participation and no panels.

Events to allow socializing and networking with other conference 
attendees are being planned for Friday evening, April 16, and Sunday, 
April 18.

Also, there is a Thursday evening (7 pm) group for bloggers that 
usually meets at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard 
Law School that's open to the public.  If any of you are interested 
in blogging or are blogging, please feel free to come to the group.

The meetings are geared toward people at all levels of blogging and 
usually draw a variety of people with a range of skills.
