Hi folks!

I thought that this message might be of interest to some folks on the ASIST
list. Maybe there's some who wants to run - or to pass on the suggestion.

Sheldon has attended a few of our early meetings (about 2 years ago). I
think he'd be a good addition to the Hennepin County Library Board too -
maybe he will run.

The announcement is for a total of six positions.

There are two current positions on the board open for appointment (according
to the announcement they must reside in Hennepin County outside of
Minneapolis) 

There are four new seats. Three must be from Minneapolis.

So, if any of you have friends who love libraries and who live in Hennepin
county outside of Minneapolis, have them apply!

>From what I've seen, the Hennepin County Library Board needs more diversity.
