Web Services Specialist

The South Central Library System (SCLS) in Madison, Wisconsin is 
seeking a person who is passionate about the important role of 
libraries to provide support to 52 SCLS member public libraries for 
web pages and electronic resources. This person also will advise 
director and associate director on technology trends, and will 
support the SCLS Administration and Foundation web presence.

Candidates should hold an MLS from an ALA accredited program or have 
a minimum of 3 years library experience. Knowledge of library 
electronic resources and web development technologies (CSS, XHTML) 
and troubleshooting skills required. Knowledge of social networking 
and "Web 2.0" technologies, digitization, virtual reference, and 
training experience desired. Good communication skills and a sense of 
humor essential. This position requires a car and the ability to 
travel independently.

Compensation range: $49,966-$53,808.  Excellent benefits.
