Meet the St Kate's Faculty - Oct 2

This year St Kate's has hired three new faculty members for the MLIS program
- but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Many fun and interesting people
have joined the faculty in the last couple of years - some names you'll
recognize, some are very new!

ASIST is pleased to introduce the St Kate's Faculty in an informal setting.
The hope is to help everyone recognize names and faces - but more
importantly to give everyone time to chat and get to know each other a
little better.

Who are these new folks?
Joyce Yukawa and Susan Shoemaker and Barbara Theirl are the three newest
members of the faculty. Sook Lim joined St Kate's last year - she's going
have an article published in JASIST (ASIST Journal) soon. Deb Torres, David
Lesniaski, Marilyn Cathcart, Helen Humeston, and Mary Wagner round out the
rest of the full-time faculty. We're hoping they will join us as will some
of the current (and past) adjunct faculty. (If that means you - we hope
you'll come!)

That's all we're going to say at this point - you'll have to come to the
meeting to learn more about these folks.

When: Monday October 2 - 5:00:-6:30
Where: Plum's 480 Snelling Ave S (that's Snelling & Randolph)
Cost: none - ASIST will buy a couple of appetizers, you're on your own for
your drink

know how much food to order and help Plum's to know how much room to
reserve.
